Exceptions to confidentiality include: 

• Court subpoenas 
• Individuals considered to be an imminent threat to themselves or others
• Cases when child abuse or neglect is suspected 

Please Note: Psychotherapists are not able to diagnose, or prescribe medication; however, they are able to complete assessments, make recommendations and perform psychotherapy.
